MusixUp presents the new video course Holy Harmony Vol.3, “Fluid Harmony – the art of manipulating harmonic structures” edited by Valerio Silvestro, one of the best jazz harmony and improvisation teachers on the Italian scene.

Giovanni Falzone
Uno dei protagonisti del jazz italiano ed europeo. Vanta una lunga esperienza anche nel mondo della musica classica. Dal 1996 al 2004 collabora stabilmente con l’Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano.
Grazie a questa esperienza ha avuto modo di suonare per i direttori e solisti di fama internazionale come Giuseppe Sinopoli e Claudio Abbado. Dal 2004 si dedica al jazz e alla composizione, diventando docente di ottoni jazz presso il Conservatorio di Milano e presso la New York
University Florence.
Tra i tanti premi il Best Talent Umbria Jazz 2000, il Top Jazz 2004 di «Musica Jazz» (miglior nuovo talento) e all’Accademie du Jazz 2009 (2° classificato nella categoria musicista europeo). Ha vinto il Top Jazz 2011 nella categoria ottoni e con il progetto “Around Ornette”, quale miglior disco dell’anno. Giovanni Falzone, in qualità di band leader, ha suonato sui principali palcoscenici europei: Umbria Jazz Winter, Villette Jazz Festival di Parigi, Clusone Jazz, AH-UM Jazz Festival, Bergen Natt Jazz, Copenaghen Jazz Festival, Aarhus International Jazz Festival e molti altri.
