Bebo Ferra
Uno dei più importanti chitarristi di jazz italiano. La sua lunga militanza nei Devil Quartet di Paolo Fresu l’ha posto definitivamente anche all’attenzione del pubblico internazionale.
Collabora con tanti altri esponenti di spicco del jazz tra cui Alex Foster, John Clark, Enrico Rava, Enrico Pieranunzi, Steve Grossmann, Maria Pia de Vito, Jim Black, Billy Cobham, Peter Bernstein, Joe Lovano, Dedè Ceccarelli, Rita Marcotulli, Franco Ambrosetti, Franco D’Andrea, Danilo Rea.
Ha inciso circa un centinaio di dischi, di cui una ventina come leader e co-leader.
Bebo Ferra è docente ed ideatore dei corsi ad indirizzo Jazz presso l’Accademia del suono Milano, e tiene seminari sull’improvvisazione in varie città dell’Italia e all’estero. È docente di chitarra jazz presso il dipartimento di Jazz del Conservatorio G.Verdi di Milano.
