Rosario Giuliani
Graduated in saxophone at the Conservatory of Music “L. Refice” of Frosinone with full marks. Winner of the Massimo Urbani prize in 1996 and the following year of the “Europe Jazz Contest”, awarded to him in Belgium as best soloist and to his quartet as best group; in 2000 he won the “Top Jazz” in the new talent category and in 2010 as best saxophonist of the year, resulting first in the annual referendum held by the specialized magazine Musica Jazz. He also won the Jazz It Awards in 2010 and 2013 for best alto sax. During the 2019 edition of Umbria Jazz he received the award as Ambassador of Umbria in the world.
