Conoscere e saper utilizzare molte tipologie di voicings può migliorare drasticamente il tuo modo di suonare, di comporre e di arrangiare un brano, ma cosa sono i voicings e come si costruiscono?
YouJazz presenta il nuovo corso “Voicings: istruzioni per l’uso, Vol. 1” in collaborazione con Fabio Giachino, dove imparerai a organizzare le singole voci all’interno di un accordo, partendo dai voicings più semplici fino a raggiungere le tecniche più avanzate.
Il Maestro Giachino ti mostrerà una serie di esercizi dove verrai guidato step by step nella costruzione di voicings sempre più articolati.
Ogni capitolo è accompagnato da esempi pratici sui jazz standards, dove potrai ascoltare come si applicano i concetti spiegati.
Il corso è suddiviso in 4 capitoli:
1. Costruzione e applicazione dei vcs a 4 suoni (con la fondamentale);
2. Costruzione e applicazione dei vcs a 5 suoni (con melodia);
3. Come accompagnare un solista;
4. Come accompagnarsi da soli (durante il tema e l’improvvisazione).
Il corso è adatto a tutti i musicisti che hanno conoscenze armoniche di base, come la costruzione delle scale e delle triadi.

Fabio Giachino è considerato tra i pianisti più interessanti della sua generazione.

Pianista, compositore e Producer è stato insignito da alcuni dei premi più importanti a livello Internazionale e Nazionale tra cui “Nuova Gerazione Jazz 2021”, “Premio Internazionale M.Urbani 2011”, “Premio
Nazionale C.Bettinardi 2011”, “Premio Speciale Bucharest International Competition 2014”, “Barga Jazz 2012”, “Artist in residence” presso
l’Ambasciata italiana in Copenaghen 2016.
Nasce ad Alba (CN) il 19/08/1986 e si forma in conservatorio (Alessandria e Torino) dove consegue il diploma e la laurea di 2° livello
in Organo e C.O. e la laurea di 2° livello in Jazz.
Privatamente ha seguito lezioni e master in Italia e all’estero (Zurigo, New York, Detroit) con D.Moroni, A.Faraò, F.Hersh, S.Battaglia, F.D’andrea, R.Zegna, J.T.Watts, S.Colley, L.Louke, J.Calderazzo.
Nel 2010 fonda il suo trio con Davide Liberti e Ruben Bellavia con i quali ha condiviso quattro lavori discografici (di cui l’ultimo uscito nel 2019 per la Cam Jazz), tour internazionali e collaborazione con artisti ospiti.
